Privacy Policy for Wrist Files Effective date: June 5, 2026 Wrist Files is a phone and Wear OS file transfer app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used. Information We Handle Wrist Files lets you choose files on your phone, send files to your paired Wear OS watch, browse received files, preview supported files, open files with other apps, share files, and delete files. The app may handle: Files that you choose to send or receive. File names, file types, file sizes, and transfer progress. Basic paired-device status needed to transfer files between your phone and watch. App activity needed for normal app operation, such as opening screens and receiving transfer events. Wrist Files does not upload your files to our own server. File transfers are sent between your phone and paired watch using Google Play services and the Wear OS Data Layer. Local File Storage Files received on the watch are stored locally on the watch so you can browse, open, share, or delete them. Files remain on the device until you delete them, uninstall the app, or clear the app's data. Advertising The phone version of Wrist Files may show a banner advertisement using Google AdMob. The Wear OS version does not show ads. Google AdMob may collect or use information such as device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location, and diagnostic data to provide, measure, and improve advertising. Google's use of information is governed by Google's own policies. Wrist Files may rely on third-party services for core Android and Wear OS functionality, including Google Play services, Wear OS Data Layer, and Google AdMob on the phone app. These services may process data according to their own privacy policies. If you choose to open or share a file with another app, that app may receive access to the file you selected. That action is controlled by you.
